Dixie State Symphony Orchestra

A mission of expansion

The Dixie State Symphony Orchestra has a reputation as one of the great university orchestras in Utah as well as the Southwestern United States. DSSO performs a variety of literature from 17th through the 21st centuries and is comprised of the top musicians on campus. The ensemble maintains an active performance schedule each season. In addition to regular semester concerts, DSSO provides the music for DSU Commencement Exercises and has performed in two DSU presidential inaugurations. The group performs throughout the community, region, and country and has been invited to travel abroad. Our mission is to expand the musical experience of those in the orchestra while performing for others.

All four DSU Symphony Orchestra performances are free for Celebrity Concert Series season ticket holders.

Contact the DSU Box Office (435-652-7800) to receive your tickets.
