CAROLINE JENNINGS

Caroline Jennings received her master’s degree in Piano Performance from the University of Utah. In the fall of 2005 she received the “Student Teacher Achievement Recognition” award from the University of Utah chapter of the National Music Teachers Association. Ms. Jennings is now a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music. She served as the president of the St. George chapter of the Utah Music Teachers Association from 2010-2012. In 2011, Ms. Jennings joined the Southern Utah Performing Arts Festival committee as the first Piano Chair, and then became the committee president in 2013.

During her high school and college careers she participated in several piano competitions receiving many Superior ratings along with the Arne Oldberg award, and 2nd place in the SummerArts Piano Competition Young Artist Division. In graduate school Ms. Jennings served as a teaching assistant and later became a staff member at the University of Utah’s Preparatory Division, a pre-college piano program. She now serves as an Adjunct Piano Professor at Dixie State University, while maintaining a private studio. Ms. Jennings also enjoys being a collaborative pianist with various musicians from the St. George community. Ms. Jennings has studied piano with four major instructors: Dr. Margaret Gale, Dr. Lynn Dean, Dr. Heather Conner, and Professor Lenora Brown.
