Photo of Katrine BakerKatrine’ is a recent graduate of Columbia University where she finished her Master of Arts in Music and Music Education, Summa cum laude. She has been honored with numerous scholarships, awards and recognitions for her pianistic abilities. She has been featured as a concerto soloist for both the Southwest Symphony and Orchestra of Southern Utah. She is a graduate of the Saint Petersburg Academy of Music (Russia) and Dixie State University, where she completed her Bachelors in Music. Upon graduating from Dixie State, Katrine’ taught as an adjunct piano professor under the direction of her mentor, distinguished colleague, and friend, Dr Nancy Allred. Currently, Katrine’ teaches piano privately and often collaborates with local musicians. She serves as head of the Junior Piano Division for Castle Rock Music Camp, and continues her piano performance studies with critically acclaimed pianists and pedagogues Graham Fitch and Dr. Evelyn Chen as she continues her education in pursuit of her doctorate.
